Update: Austrian opposition criticises authorities

In a recent email to 'Plattform Lyoness', the Austrian Green Party (part of the parliamentary opposition) has criticised the lengthy and perfunctory way in which the Austrian authorities have been investigating and prosecuting Lyoness and its instigators. In the email, the Green Party representative lists the time-consuming ignorance of the Capital Markets Authority (FMA), the capacity-lacking circumstances under which the Economic and Corruption Prosecutor (WKStA) needs to operate and the Chamber of Commerce being in desperate need of reform as contributing factors to the persistence of the unchallenged growth of Lyoness.

Recently, Gerhard Huber, member of the right-wing BZÖ party, also expressed his concerns about Lyoness. The ministers he has questioned will attend to his questions earliest in the end of June.
